On February 17th, at El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort, Tucson experienced the 60th Anniversary Heart and Stroke Ball, Heart of the West. The Tucson Heart and Stroke Ball is one of the longest running Heart Balls in the nation.  The festivities began with the cocktail hour and a lively silent auction.  Guests were transported back to an old west town with a gunslinger and saloon girl milling about, a old saloon photo booth, and a jail selfie stop.  Walking into the ballroom a vibrant energy filled the air as we watched a motivational survivor video and as we recognized some of the past chairs from the last 60 years.  The message of the day was one of celebration and inspiration, which led us to raise over half a million dollars to fight cardiovascular disease and stroke.
